The success of a good holiday depends strongly on matching the right European resort to the needs of your travelling group. In fact, many resorts in Greece and Spain are well known for offering great family-friendly facilities, which are often a big draw for those with young children who still want a holiday with their partner!

In Britain particularly, Magalluf has a poor reputation. However its beach stretches for over 1600 metres and it`s known to be one of Majorca`s best, winning blue flags for is cleanliness. There are great beach activities, a buzzing nightlife which caters for a range of interests and ages and plenty of family-focused destinations including the rocky coves, theme parks and sites of historical interest. The accommodation is plentiful, of good quality and often to be found at good prices and the resort has a friendly, very British feel, with most shops and entertainment venues doing business in English for their tourist markets.

Next door is beautiful Palma Nova which offers plenty of sun and fun. It`s a very extrovert resort with a buzzing, lively atmosphere and a huge amount of things to do for couples, friends and families alike, whether relaxation or lively nights out are on the agenda. The beach is incredible, as is the blue sea and the town is full of restaurants, bars and shops. The resort is purpose-built and there`s a charming traditional harbour which is also perfect for eating out. There are plenty of good value holidays in Palma Nova available and great offers at the different hotels, which range from self-catering family accommodations to adults-only resorts for couples.
